Shane Peagler is the founder of Everest Injury Law and an experienced Atlanta personal injury attorney representing individuals and families across Georgia in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases.
Throughout his career, Mr. Peagler has handled complex civil litigation matters in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and California. Through settlements, trials, appeals and his consulting practice, he has worked on cases that have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries for injured clients and surviving families. His experience includes significant Georgia trial and appellate matters such as Veasley v. Monitronics, Martin v. Six Flags, and Grange v. Woodard.
Mr. Peagler focuses his practice on high-stakes cases involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice. He approaches each case with a strategic, trial-ready mindset—developing evidence, identifying liability theories, and building damages narratives.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Peagler has extensive experience in law firm management and litigation oversight. He has managed firms and supervised cases from initial intake through final resolution, giving him a comprehensive understanding of how successful cases are built, valued, and resolved. He also continues to consult with other attorneys on high-value personal injury and wrongful death cases, particularly those involving complex liability, expert testimony, and appellate risk.
Mr. Peagler earned his Juris Doctorate from the Georgia State University College of Law, where he was selected for the school’s Moot Court program, an honor reflecting excellence in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy. During law school, he interned for the late P. Harris Hines of the Supreme Court of Georgia and for Alice D. Bonner of the Fulton County Business Court. He was also an invited member of the Bleckley Inn of Court.
Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Peagler taught in the English Department at Clemson University. His background in rhetoric and analysis directly informs his approach to case strategy, jury persuasion, and trial presentation.
